Alec L. Miller, PsyD, is Co-Founder of Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants of Westchester, LLP, a private group practice based in White Plains, NY. He is also Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychology, Director of the Adolescent Depression and Suicide Program, Director of Clinical Services at PS 8 School-Based Mental Health Program, and Associate Director of the Psychology Internship Training Program at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.
Dr. Miller received his BA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before earning his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY. He has become internationally known in the areas of adolescent depression and suicidology, non-suicidal self-injury, borderline personality disorder, and DBT.
