COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVES

Community representatives, include youth, teachers, parents, community leaders, and Elders, from each of the eight Swampy Cree Tribal Council (SCTC) communities will be involved throughout the program of research.  The role of these representatives is to ensure that the research program is grounded in indigenous perspectives.  They will educate the researchers on the current perspectives of the needs of the First Nations community members and provide ongoing feedback on research projects and interventions that are most likely to be successful in the communities.
